1st Fitting

Wedding Gown Selection:
I just went for my 1st fitting on 16 Dec 2006. It was tiring but maybe i already have some idea wat i wanted (tube top, simple, elegance, classic to withstand time) so every wedding gown seems to fit my criteria!.  

I choose something that is classic (from front) and i like the train very much. Although I do not have a long walk-in in the resturant, but who cares, as long as I like it. hahah.... i even make a joke out of it, maybe by the time i walk to the front, my train haven even move an inch!...hahha...just a joke!

Evening Gown Selection:
I do not have any idea wat i wanted for evening gown, i did not do any homework :P
So I get to try different different style of EG. I have seen many brides wear bright blue, bright red, so i thought something purple would be nice.

In the end i choose a light blue piece, it is rather a simple halter neck piece, but the colour compliment my skin tone. It did not give that "woh" feeling at 1st sight, but its something where u wont grow sick looking at it.

I also select another light gold halter neck for tea dress/EG. Its a another simple gown with a big ribbon at the back. I choose that because of the ribbon.

Outdoor Gown Selection:
I wanted a gown with some colours, like small purple or pink flower. I saw one WG that fit this criteria but does not really look good on me. I manage to find one from the outdoor gown rack and I can fit it. Immediately I choose it as my outdoor gown!

Final Verdict:
I manage to make my confirmation and selection within 3 hrs. Its quite a fun experience as I can see how different cutting flow on my body, and also get to understand what kind of cutting is suitable for me. My belief is "wear something that suit your body, and not trying to get your body to suit the dress".

Wedding Cake
Eating your wedding cake is part of a traditional ceremony that includes cake cutting. To cut the cake is a piece of cake but it symbolises the start of the newly weds life together.

Superstition requires the bride to cut the first piece of cake with the groom placing his right hand over the bride’s to guide it for the initial slice. The knife used by the bride is always new and usually purchased as a wedding gift to the bride. Next, the groom feeds the bride, and then she in turn feeds him while they pose shyly for photographs and video cams. The shared slice of cake represents their first meal together as husband and wife.

Champagne Pouring
The champagne represents happiness and the couple's happiness on their wedding day will overflow onto their guests and future generations.

The 3 YamSengs
- 1st toast is for happiness, wish the couple an everlasting marriage
- 2nd toast is for a lifetime of marital bliss "Xin fu mei man"
- 3rd toast is for "zi-3 sun-1 man-3 tang-2" or "zao sheng gui zi"

Before PS
• 2 weeks before PS go for facial
• 3 days before PS, use Loreal whitening paper mask for 3days

For HER
• Bridal shoes, EG shoes, tea dress shoe and OD shoes (sandals dun need high heel cos hidden)
• Wedding bands
• Accessories (match EG or WG or use the one provided by MUA)
• Loose powder, lip stick for touch up during outdoor PS

For HIM
• 4 coloured Shirts
• Ties 
• Black and white socks
• Matching shoes

For BOTH
• Own outfit (casual matching clothes) 
• Own props
• Mints sweet, dun drink too much water
• Wet tissue (for Outdoor to clean ur sandals)
• Blotters
• Mini fan (cooling during outdoor PS)
