Lately I was reading some blogs from the Xinmsn and I came across Jesseca Liu (http://jessecaliu.wordpress.com/) blog which interest me a lot. Not because I like her in any particular way but I am amazed by her. Being a public figure but her blog is so "normal" like any other blogger that you can chance across.
From her blog I also realized that as one aged.... there is a shift in Priority.... Some of her blog entries sound so familiar to me. Especially those that she wants to get away to find her true self.... At certain point of my life, I used to write like this... I have long forgotten about it..... reading her blog entry does bring back some memories.
Is it because life changes and experience make one has a shift in priority? Its like when we were younger, we used to post pictures of ourselves and our friends.... talk about dream and ambitious. Once we settled down with kids and family, the photo album is full of pictures of the little ones... conversation revolved around kids, education, etc.... This is where we start losing our inner self.... but for other priority in life ~ someone who is more important than yourself. I guess the sense of responsibility does play a big part in this role.

Update of 2013
I haven been updating my blog since mid of 2012! .... I guess its
mainly because the previous blog space is going to "close shop", I din
really bother with the migration so it was quite last minute... by the
time I migrate my stuffs.... and realizing the photos need to manually
download and upload... the lazy bugs in me keep delaying till the stuffs
are gone.....
Towards the end of 2012 is also where I moved on from my previous job of 5 years.... so the 1st 3 months is like drug rehabilitation period... trying to adjust and trying to decide if this is going to be a "correct" move.... Nonetheless I have moved on... by now...hahahha
End of 2012, a younger cousin just left us suddenly and this caught all of us off guard. I will never forget that morning when I received a call from her sister informing us the news. No last words. It has been a year since she left. This year my heart gets heavy when Dec comes. Life is just so unpredictable. Her passing has reminded us that we should always treasure what we have, enjoy while we can, do what we still have the ability to do and live our life with no regrets.
I was looking through my fb to find some memories of 2nd half of 2012 and realised I did not make much record about it. I think it was also during that period of sad memories, I did not really make much posting on fb.
The main reason for re-starting this blog is also because I realised my memories is not as good as before... a lot of things I cant really recall! Hmmmm..... so the blog does serve its purposes when you need to refer to some of the memories!
2013 I have travelled to a few places due to work... not really working working but more of retreat and trust me, I dun think anyone like to do this kind of retreat... its mind taxing (not blowing)..... Its's always full of activities, task and presentations.... Sometimes its more "xiong" than normal working.
On private basis, we managed to go to Sydney and I am glad we did it... We managed to grab a good bargain air ticket via Scoot. Its our furthest travel since Hong Kong 2 years back... this time round, Charlotte could appreciate travel more... But I guess it is not as mind blowing for her as compared to Hong Kong (because of Disneyland). We travelled on DIY basis and of course I am the planner. Hahahha..... We went as far to Hunter Valley and we really loved Hunter Valley...... Love the air, love the cheese, love the wine and the carefree smell!
As
this picture shown, the girl has grown up quite a lot. I have also lost
track of her development progress.... Cant remember when she learn to
rebut against me...hahahhaha.... But sometimes she is still quite cute
in her speech and words.... The little baby is no longer little!
And finally in this year we can feel that Charlotte really enjoy her birthday celebration. No more emo face during birthday party! Though she gets slightly emo towards to the end but I manage to pull her back with the toy minions. (more of her minions party here)
