We got the loan application letter!

We received the loan application letter! One more step closer to our new home!
We have gotten the approval and the next letter would be key collection!
There are total of 6 blocks, the 1st 2 blocks already got the keys and in the process of renovation.
The day where the 1st forumee got the key, the whole forum is jam with about 26 users waiting for pictures of raw flat. There are even suggestion to use mobile broadband to do live telecast!!! Hahahaha.

We are expecting to receive key late Feb or early march. I have previously draw some plans for the deco but due to the location of electrical points, we might have to change some of the layout.
The orginal plan was something like this...
The shoe rack facing the door, dinning table and sofa facing the walk way...

We most probably have to shift the location of the TV set to the opposite due to the electrical point location. 

This is my idea for the bomb shelter!...Hahahha... DIY vinyl of Eiffel tower. Drawing on paper and transferring to the vinyl sticker. All ready for sticking!

Our kitchen is rather small, the measurement for the cabinet, table top, sink and cooker is expected to be 7.5feet. Wanted to get or made a mobile kitchen that look like this. Went to its "birth place" Kitchen Culture to see. It is so damm x. The small one is 4k and the bigger one is 6k... Wat an expensive taste! Hahahah... We tried to go ikea to think of how we can made a smilar one and conclusion is ikea material might not be able to sustain the weight. We have also talk to a few reno ppl who recommend using wood but might not be cheap and sustainable as well... Might have to drop this idea.
 

Simple joy...

Feel like doing a 2008 recap... but I guess I am either plain lazy... or perhaps I have become less "persistent" on things and issue...hahhaa

This entry might come a bit late for 2008 recap...hahhaa... Many things have happened, change... in 2008... I am too lazy or maybe unwilling to be reminded of lousy feeling... I just want to remember the good ones... hahhaa

My accomplishment for 2008 is..... finish attending 9 wedding dinner! completed 3 times as Jie mei which 2 of which I m the matron of honor... hahaha.. :P, our cousins got wedded just last week... hmm... a lot of mixture of feeling... between families, traditions and stuffs... lets not be long winded here... see my review of wedding in previous entry ba...hahaha 

I re-visted at what I have typed for recap of 2007... back then I sound happier.... hmm... perhaps life has made us "grow" and be more matured... Or maybe I have try to look at things from a lighter side... no hard feeling, no special joy...

But joy can still be as simple as receiving a piece of my fav cake...hahaha...


Thou some of the things I wish for in 2008 did not happen... such as spending xmas in our new place...still not ready but joy can be as simple as spending festive season with our loved one, dressed up for the occasion and feast with friends!!!

or perhaps simply nuai sai at home!!!!! Hahaha... we did not manage to go away for holiday to places as planned.... decided to shelve that off for bigger plan! Thou its a bit disappointing not being able to go for holiday. The new focus is our home to be...Thou the wait to the key is like "giraffe"... joy can drafting the look for the new nest! Already done some sketches and collection of images and drafts... completed a piece of DIY too...


The biggest plan for 2009 is to set up our Home Sweet Home in Coralinus!
