NDP Preview at Marina Bay Floating Platform

Got 2 tickets for preview on last sat from my colleague. Just nice, Nick finished his re-service on sat noon. We went to Bugis to see the tallest wedding cake done by Intercontinnal Hotel. Design is classic but not really that fantastic as what Straits Times describe.

The ticket stated 4.00pm for entry, we thought it would be too early and it was drizzling. We decided to go for early dinner, sick for 1 week, I really need some nice food for my taste buds. I told Nick I wanted Tony Romas, he said try somthing else, I was wondering why cannot have Tony Romas??? In the end we settled at Pasta Mania in Bugis and the food is really disappointing. Nick is complaining all the way throughout the dinner. I "suan" him, " tell u go eat chicken loh, u dun want". Then he replied, " Tony Romas got chicken meh". Then I said, "ya, the set meal lar, and I am craving for the cheese marconise" Then I realised I said the wrong name! It should be Kenny Ronger!!! Nick say if I had said Kenny Roger in the 1st place, we would have went there. Too bad. I think I must have been sick until blur....

After the early dinner, we walked over to Marina Bay at about 5pm. Lots of school children in pink plastic raincoat and lots of "red ants"....we were not dressed in red, cant find a red top... at least I am in purple, closer to red. Nick is in blue, worse, seems like opposite of red. Hahaha...

There is a lot of moblie toilet outside Marina Bay, and trust me, its the cleanest and smell free public moblie toliet I have ever used. Maybe because I am the 1st few to use ba....hahhaha....

We choose our goodies bag and I took a red one (to camouflage mar) and Nick took a blue one. Lots of stuffs like tonns of tibittes in the bag! And NEW WATER which Nick die die refuse to drink....Hahahha...

A lot of "stimulated" guest of honour and program. The "stimulated" MPs, MM, even dressed in white shirt and pants, carrying the nametag and wave hand to the audiences!!! Hahaha.... The most exciting part should be the "Arpachi" plane, the big big Singapore flag, the super fast airplane and the para-shoot jumper. This year is NS40 so they have big tanks coming into the scene with comandos dressed smartly to display their "cool" pose in walkway of the audience stand. We cant really see the mass display cos too near the stage. The fireworks is also quite disappointing. Maybe because we have seen nicer one during New Year celebration and firework festivals.

我预备了礼拜一到礼拜五的节目。
谁知道，天算不如人算！
几乎天天躺在床上！
真是他妈的病毒! 更可恶的是我不知道他是什么病毒!
我的这个礼拜的计划通通泡汤了。
很想哭，我讨厌生病!
更可恶的是，我不知道是什么病。
没发作时好好没事，一发作，背部痛到你要捶墙壁。
医生说是感冒病毒。Please... go away and never come back....

人都是在生病时感到最脆落。
不想猪虫担心，就说我没事。
死猪虫还果真相信我!
book out 了，和朋友去唱K。
气的我七孔毛烟!
他知道我不高兴,可是以为我不高兴他和朋友出去。
让我更生气!
冷静候，我发sms了让他知道我气什么。
他这才明白我病的不简单，马上飞奔我家。
哪里有怎么容易放他的马!
怎样都要发发牢骚，被哄哄一下才开心。

从这个事件，我更确定，
男人的心是超大的血管型成的。
你要orange他不会知道你要的是apple。
怪不得女生容易爆血管。
看来我要多做cardio exercise来扩胀我的血管才行。

4th July 2007, Happy 3rd Anniversary

3 years back, on a Saturday night at DClub off tanjong pagar, he caught me off guard with a kiss. With that kiss, I become his girlfriend !?!? Fat hope! Where got so easy...? hahah... but indeed it was really that easy... :P After midnight to a Sunday, I made him ask it officially, cant let him off so easily.

4th July, USA independence day... I never knew that it was USA independence day until he mentioned. To me, its a day where love found a new meaning. :)

Times flies and 2007 we are celebrating our 3rd year of anniversary. This is a special year for us, we decided to tie the knot! Looking back at the times, its really not an easy path. Things now was more than what I could have ask for. But of course, we must keep improving ourself and our life, within our capabilities limits. Both of us have a common understanding that as long as we are happy, in term of materials needs, nothing is really that important.

As usual, the lazy pig is trying to siam to be the IC of the day. He has no idea how to celebrate. Whenever I ask him, he say "happy jiu hao loh".... He can be very initative at times and total lazy pig worm when the virus kick in! I decided that I should think of some place to go. This time round, I did my homework! Hahah... I went to a local famous food blog by a doctor who recommend on nice food in SG. This resturant come under his "MUST TRY" list.

We arrived there at 7.00pm, nice sea breeze and cant take a lot of picture with the exterior of the boat cos the wind is blowing from the opposit direction! This place is a small jetty and you can see a lot of man with luaggage waiting for ferry, there are even ppl sleeping on the bench.

We stepped into the boat and it has quite a no of Christian decor. But overall its is quite an english mixed with Old SG style. English craved lamps as side lamp on the wall, with olden day oil lamp on the side table as deco. Kinda funny combination. We could'nt care much, cos we felt dizzy after 2 minutes of sitting down. Trying hard not to think of it, but hard to focus. The rock was gentle, but I dun think anyone with seasick can take it. Hahaha...

We ordered a Chicken BBQ herbs and Turkey Quesadillas as recommended on the blog. The Turkey Quesadillas was nice! Nice cheesy smell and served with big scoop of fresh sour cream! I would say atmosphere wise, the place is good, but a bit too dizzy for me. Skip alchol due to the dizziness. Hahah..

After the dinner, we went to the roof top garden at the jetty. It was a nice ambience place with FOC music coming from the bar on the roof top. Facing the sea, we found a bench and enjoy the seabreeze as we share our ideas on renovating our house...still quite sometime away...hahah.....more of counting our budget.... talking nonsenses...hahha... making fun of each other.....

The feeling is smooth, no heart thumping moments, just happy that we get to spend some quiet time together. By the way... no anniversay presents...hahha....the best present for each other is taking time off to spend the special day together!
