Mood - less
In a total mood less mode.... my bday present, the psp is gone. Now the box is lying in my bedroom, but the console set is gone! Disappear....
Last seen was last Wednesday nite...I was playing with it while waiting for Nick to knock off. Discover that its gone on Friday evening...the min I step home after work, my bro was asking for the psp and I said it was it the bag, but he could'nt find it...search frantically all over the place.... no sight of it...
Nick knew I was totally upset that I have lost the psp, he din scold me... but he make fun of me... keep reminding me that I have lost the console. On and off he reminded me that! Finally after 2 days of pleasure making fun of me, he said, "psp lost liao never mind, human dun lost can liao". He does take it lightly and happy go lucky... But I just cant understand why it was lost!
I keep trying to recall where I have brought it along with me.... it was in my bag all the time... I did not bring my bag out to shopping or even on the walk! Final conclusion is I lost it in office... and not possibilies of dropping out without making any sound... It was stolen! Not surprising....my office ppl always ganna handphone stolen... Recently they fixed a stupid security system because things always get missing...
None of the ppl in my office knew that there was a psp in my bag, my bag is closed all the time. My room is locked during lunch time... but cant expect me to lock the room when I go to the toilet or away for meeting rite.... now I know why my colleague locked the room when she go away for meeting....I suspect that this fellow ransack the bag just to grab anything that is available.... he/she did not took the cash....maybe its too little as compare to the console set. Damm it!!!
I have never lost something of this value.....I got so upset that its gone..... not entirely because of the monetary value.... it was a present, and moreover its something Nick and me wanted for a long time. Felt so upset and pissed! But wat can I do... *sigh.....

What is pig most hardworking at?
This morning, as usual, have to nag for Pig Worm to wake up... and as usual, he complain about tired lar, cannot wake up lar.... tonns of excuses. Below is our conversation:
While tying to dig him off the bed I said to him :
U very lazy lei, 告诉我猪什么时候勤劳过？
He did not reply me. After he went to the loo, as I was making coffee, he said to me: Eh我知道liao!
I said: wat?
He replied: Just now u ask me 猪什么时候勤劳过？

He smartly replied: 在吃东西的时候 loh! Hahahahah

Teochew Ah Hia and Hokkien Ah ber
This is the 1st year we are celebrating Valentine day as husband and wife! Hahahah... din really have much plan about what to do for this day... Nick never put importance on Vday... I still remember the 1st vday we celebrated in advance...I cooked beehoon and bring some tibites then went to east coast park to picnic... in the late afternoon so its a bit hot and sweaty...not really romantic...hahah... I gave him a self made card (a pict of us on my 25th bday)... guess wat... this year on the eve of vday, I point at Nick pict on that card and joke "Ah bui! Ah bui!" He point back on my face on that card and say "this is Ah bui!" we were round round back then...hahahah....
Last year, he made no plans for vday too... in the end I brought him to a korean bbq off westcoast road for dinner... no presents exchange also... hahahaha... Every year, my bday is the only time he take effort to plan something.... Never receive flower from him on vday...his reason is, Bday give u liao...hahah... true enough, my bday is too near to vday...
This year, Nick volunteer to think of a dinning place for vday... I am more than happy to hear that.... hahahah...
He spend the eve of vday playing psp and I sleep early... but we manage to wish each other Happy Valentine Day when the clock strike 12 and he was about to save his game and go to bed.... hahahah....
On Vday, its working as usual, about 10 plus in the morning, I got a call from the reception. I got a bouquet of flower! hahahah!!! So happy that I got my 1st valentine bouquet from Nick. I took a photo and sms him with thanks. He replied "Dun mention".... wat a way to reply your wife thanks rite? Hahahah... I send him another pict... it was a gift I had prepared for him... He din expect any present from me... so this get him "xin yang yang" for the rest of the day!
We met afterwork and the 1st thing he do is look for his present!...I made him guess and his 1st answer is Shirt...*teh*.. wrong.... My phone ring and when I was on the phone when he faster open his present... cant wait to see! Hahahah...
We went to this porridge place in Kallang Indoor stadium as per Nick planned. He said its recommended by his colleague and this resturant is going to close soon. He said "Pai sei lei... bring u eat porridge" I am fine with it... he say "Ya CNY we eat too much goodies liao mar"...hahaha...
We ordered a stew pork meat... fatty and nice.... damm yummy... although really very fatty... very nice lei.... the oyster in the oyster egg are big too... worth the value... its 8 bucks... and we had a abalone mushroom vege... The porridge is refillable... inside got "han zi" aks sweet potato... Nice! I was joking that this is teochew mui meh.... "han zi ber" is usually hokkien one lei... so conclusion... its taiwan porridge dun care teochew or hokkien....hahahah... this porridge is not cheap... 3 dishes and 2 porridge, total damage abt 40 bucks! But the food is nice!
We bumped into a fred's sis and her bf.... we chatted till 11pm then left that place...hahaha
Back home, we saw the letter from the institute.... Nick got enrolled into the course! Finally this uncle is going to do his study. Hahahah.... Uncle! time to pack your pencil case and school bag liao! :P
He was joking saying that I can wait for him after school cos now got PSP to keep me occupied while waiting... I told him, dun worry, I am good at finding my own activities. Hahahah!

Happy Friendship Day!
I was reading Olivia's and Andrea's blog about valentine day... it set me off thinking how I spend this day in my teens...... My friends and I were quite innocents during our teens day... innocent as in no bf or suitor, no drama drama vday surprise rose or love letter under school table...hahaha.... however there were 1 or 2 in our class who had this kind of dramatic vday experience....hahaha
Never had any beau to celebrate Valentine day as the name denote loving couple day... hahahah... It was until I met Nick and celebrate my 1st Valentine day at the age of 25... a bit paisei ... *blushing* hee hee hee...
For the past 24 yrs, I always regard Feb 14 as friendship day ONLY. The bunch of gals dun really celebrate this day, usually the attached one will have dates with their bf and the single ones will hang out together! Hahaha... there are a couple of us, so 1 or 2 have bf de go on date we still have the others to hang on to...
I still remember my 1st friendship flower is a paper rose given to me by WS... we were in NP then and she got me this paper rose from a craft stall inside NP.... Ppl who dun know might think we are les??? But we are used to it... cos since secondary 2, our form teacher, Mrs Tan labelled us as les... she purposely make one of us sit east and the other sit west... reason given "U 2 too close liao" *phangz... we have to walk separately when passing by the teacher room.... sometimes the rest of the gals in our group had to act as smokescreen for us! I rem once we started sec 3...we always walk together in front of her! Purposely wanna "qi si" her! Hahahah!!!!! Its kinda funny to recall now....
As we grew older, one by one in the gal group got attached....I still rem there are years I hate Valentine day... would go home straight away after work...it sucks to be walking alone in the street during vday... hahahah.... My money making mind start cracking when I get too eng during Vday. There were years where thoughts of selling paper, rubber rose came to my mind... I even got a "ling gan" to make Roche roses from that Roche tv adv... I din succeed.... that stupid chocolate is too heavy for the paper rose!
Now most of us are attached and have our own program with our the other half on this special day.... I guess most would not remember it as a Friendship day... lets not let this day be just Valentine Day... beside showing your appreciation to your loved one, do also show your appreciation to friends who have stood by u all these years...

Happy CNY & Happy Bday!
This year mark the start of giving Ang Bao during CNY for us! Hahaha.... we also collect some ang baos from elderly who say we can still get ang bao until small bb come out! Some say can still collect for 1st year...Yeah!!!
We had reunion dinner at both home as per last year. At my grandfather place, I saw my cousins all with psp, some even have 2 set of diff colour! I try to find the switch to on the set, my cousin was giggling at my clumsyness. Its the psp era!
In the past, we will count down in each of our home over the phone. This is the 1st year we are physically together at home to count down together! Hahahah....
1st day of CNY we went to "pai nian" and as per tradition, we got to be in red red...hahahha... Went to our relatives places and catch up some good times with our cousins too! Saw our cousins children all playing Gameboy! Had some fun with the games too! Hahaha... must always keep in touch withe the young ppl world! Nick say a xbox in his nephew's room, he ask his nephew if he could play, the young boy said to him "I can also teach u, I am very strong now"... Hahahah!!!... Uncle Nick, u old liao :P
We receive some new years wishes like "this year faster give birth" :P mostly from elderlys.... This year all the new year goodies are yummy!!! Eat from morning till night! Hahahaha...
I received some bday sms when the clock strike 12 midnight. The 1st one came from Ws, Nick say how come her clock so fast??? Cos he plan a bday alert on his phone, it meant to be a surprise but Ws de msg come b4 his hp alert...hahaha.... But nonetheless, its the thoughts that count. In uncle Nick hp alert wishes, he say "May your dreams come true" Hmmm does that means what ever I ask for, you will do it? Hahaha.... *evil...
2nd day of CNY morning, I ask for my bday present... he say he din buy anything... the ticket to the musical is the present liao.... I was hoping for some surprise... hahhaa... we visited his auntie and uncle. While I was talking to his cousin in the bedroom, he sneaked out of the house. It din cross my mind wat he had planned, I thought he just went to the void deck.
He returned and call us to go out of the room. da lar..... I saw a cake on the table! Its my fav strawberry shortcake!!! I ask him how he managed to get a cake cos its CNY. He said he got his fred who is staying nearby to buy on the eve of CNY... even got his sister involve to look for the cake... hahaha... The cake is tasty! Nick say too bad dun have candle... Thank u my dear! its ok without the candle, the thought is good enough. :) Plus you got me the PSP...hahahah....
We got a white PSP from his cousin, I ask if its my bday present... cos then when I play he cannot fight with me :P hahahha.... Its time to invade the youngster world... *evil
We went to Marina Square for dinner, wanted to try the Hong Lim Curry Chicken Noodle... but not open, in the end we had the curry chicken noodle hotplate, we tried b4 this stall and its still as yummy, just that additional 1 buck during CNY.
After dinner we went over to esplanade... waiting to go for the musical... Saw a event outside the place that celebrate the start of CNY... got lion dance also... When I still a child, I always scared to going near the lion but now already auntie liao... I even want to touch it to get heng heng!!!Hahahah...We manage to touch the lion for good luck! Hahahah...
Watch the 1st show of Shanghai Blues... I would say the singers are all very powerful... but the stage design is not so good. Maybe because the last musical we watched was the Empress Portrait which leave us a very good impression on the stage effects. Under comparsion... Shanghai Blues stage setting is not as impressive. But the story line is not too bad. I enjoyed the show.
Sat, 3rd day of CNY, Nick got to go back to work in the morning...me lei... stay at home play PSP! Hahahah... joking lar, I stay at home to eat new year goodies lar :P We went to WC place in the evening to play mj... hahaha...
We had Lo Hei and KFC for dinner. The Lo Hei was the fun part. We are suppose to say some "Ji Xiang" words... so they ask me to do it... I say "1st item, huat ar, 2nd item, huat huat ar, 3rd one, huat huat huat ar!" Hahahah... of course we din do as per wat I say... Each of us take one item and say something related to the item as we pour it over the Yu Sheng. The Yu Sheng that WC got from Soup Resturant was really good! With the pamelo I brought from home, its very tasty!!! Steven took a video of the Lo Hei, only to find out in the end that it was blocked right in the middle by a soya sauce cap! Hahahah!
After dinner, we continued with mj... Nick and myself rotate to play... while he was playing I play SW de DS lite... Played this game call Cooking Mama,....had a hard time with it... realise the games nowadays is not easy to play... or maybe my reflex is not as good liao! Hahahah... But one thing for sure, I hate games that need to use the brain! Hahahah... We went back before the clock strike 12, the gals move on for movie.
4th day of CNY, went to toa payoh to pai pai with my family. Stay at home cook Nia Gao! Hahahah... long time bo eat nia gao pan fried with egg! Yummy!!!! In the evening we thought of watching the Ah Long Pte Ltd, but tickets almost sold out... so we gave it a missed as I do not want to twist my neck to watch the movie. Went home had steamboat and BBQ!!! Hahahah.... Its a new year full of foods, goodies and game!
Now I am stuck with Sims2 Castaway! I think it will take a while before I get tired of it...hahahah... but I think it would take very long, cos I am a supporter of the Sims! From the very 1st version! Hahahah

Innovative Yu Sheng Bday Cake
My colleagues treat me to Dian Xiao Er for lunch yesterday as pre birthday celebration. As some will be going on leave on and off just before CNY. Yesterday we all gather for lunch. Hahaha... It was a pleasant surprise.
We had the set lunch menu and a Yu Sheng for Lo Hei... 1st time I hear ppl Lo Hei is say Happy Birthday de...hahaha.... cos one of my younger colleague was saying H.Bday while Lo Hei... then I say "Huat huat huat!" Hahahah Then another colleague say...may all the siao siao ppl go far far from us... then we chip in, Yes! Yes! Yes! and more more bonous....hahahaha....
The food is good.... we had their "zhao pai" 10 herbal duck... but I think I prefer the "dang gui" one that I 1st try at Marina Sq with Nick... I got to know that if we placed order before 12.30pm we get to hold a "wang pai" that give some early bird discount... But it does not apply to promotion and set menu order.
Later part of the day, my colleague got me a birthday cake! 1st birthday cake for 2008...hahahha.... Nice chocolatey taste!
