Going for my photoshoot soon in early Mar. I went back to BZ to reselect my evening gown. The inital piece selection of the gold and light blue gown are halter neck pieces. The gold one is nice but having seen some of the photos from other ppl, I realise that gold might not be outstanding under yellow lighting. My venue is held in a resturant and would expect yellow lighting even the very minimum.
Having in mind to choose something pink or purple, we went back to BZ last sat. After trying on some pink gown, the feeling is funny. Its seems like I am not suitable for warm colours. Something strike my eyes! Its a bright blue with sliver lines and small purplish pink flower tube gown. It almost the same design as my selected wedding gown, but it has a totally different feeling.
I try on the light blue halter and bright blue tube gown to do a comparsion. Those around commented that the light blue halter give a more smoothing and elegance feeling. The bright blue tube is more wild and striking. My personal feeling is a evening gown must give a "wow" feeling. Its only for less than 2 hrs that you are wearing the gown, it must be something special..hahaha... It a pom pom and forsee that might have problem walking ard tables for the dinner, but who cares, I will tell those in the way to 'siam'....hahaha, the coordinator, mavis heard me say that and see me doing the "hey siam" action, immediately stop me! "hey dun wear my nice gown and do such ugly act...hahah...ppl see u coming sure will give way de" Haha....i am just joking!
I am glad I change my evening gown, the more I see it, the more I like this gown!
Surprise no 1 : He took half day leave without me knowing and go home bath, change and still can have time to nap for 45 mins! Reason for taking half day leave is to go and buy present. *faint! He told me on the phone that he got me a watch. I believe him as he hand me the watch, but i am wonder wat brand is this...hahah... then he confess that its a free gift with the real birthday present.
Surprise no 2 : He got me a shawl cos he knew I am wearing a tube dress and scare I might feel cold...hahha... wat a lame excuse! But I know he took effort to choose the present cos he got me a 100% cotton one as the sales ger say it will be warmer than pasamire. I am happy with his taste and selection. It as brown dual colour shawl.
Surprise no 3 : As we were trying to q for the famous donut in Raffles city, he say he need to go withdraw some cash. He went off for sometimes and I suspect something. Suddenly he return with a bouquet of flower! hahah... but i smell some cigerate smell. He manage to sneak a smoke b4 collecting the flower ** double faint! Seeing the stunning bouquet, i did not reprimand him for the smoke break...hahha! Its my favourite lily and its a unqiue arrangement with many special small purple flowers and some "mao mao" looking green balls.
Surprise no 4 : He says he make a reservation at Chimes and he say he knew the way so he will guide me there. In the end, as usual his "holland king" title never fail him. He guide me walk to old national library and I realised its the wrong way. In the end, its me who guide him there.
I think he planned 3 surprises but the 4th one is due to his "holland king" spirit. Hahah! We had an enjoyable nite. Took many photos in chimes. We went to this Mediterranean resturant. The appeitize is superb. The main course so so lor, the lamb chop was'nt as good as expected but the dinner end well with a indulging dessert "Melting Moments"! Its the best dish of the meal!
