Suppose to have the photo shoot on the 6th March. All ready and prepared for it. I even took leave on 5th to do spa, manicure and pedicure. Who knows, on the 5th morning I woke up unable to open my left eye! When I see myself in mirror, Oh gosh, I had a big swollen eyelid! As if someone just gave me a punch!
I faster put on mask to see if it can bring down the swell. By late morning the swell goes off a bit. I went on to do my spa and manicure, hoping that the swell will go off by tuesday morning. By monday nite, the swell get slightly better. I keep worrying if we can still have the photoshoot, everything was arranged. I packed the stuffs we need to bring and sleep in hoping that the swell will go off.
Tuesday morning is a nightmare, the swell got worsen. Still hopeful. We went to have macdonald breakfast as planned. He keep saying if worse to worse we postponed loh.... Upon reaching Boon Keng studio, we waited for the make up artist to arrive. I showed her my swollen eyes and both her and the photographer tell us we have to postpone. The make up artist say she can bring up both eyelid to equal level but will look damm fake. The photographer also commented that I have nice double eyelid, so its best not to take it at this condition. There is no way the photo will turn out nice with that big swelling eyelid. Plus only take the wedding photo onces in a life time of course must be in best condition.
So we apologize for the inconvenience and change the date. Both the make up artist and photographer are very nice to console us that its ok. But i still cant help but feeling a bit sad, low morale. Just as we fixed the date to 1 month later. He commented "hei hei, u would have 1 more month to slim down!" Both the make up artist and photographer boo him upon hearing this. They "scold" him, u should be the one putting more weight! hahah...
We left the place feeling a bit low, maybe its the mood, all ready for it and have to change. I keep telling myself maybe it will just rain damm heavily so hopefully its a blessing in disguise. Indeed it rain in the afternoon and we just sleep the evening away.
This morning I woke up with a even more swollen eye. No choice go and see doc. Doc say I got "Zheng Yan"! and the pus already burst that's why its filling my whole eyelid! Suck!!! First time going to take wedding photo, First time experience "Zheng Yan"! 4D, toto also not so heng loh....hahhahh
I wasted my leave, my manicure and pedicure. Well lesson learnt. I decided to try those stick on nails for the photoshoot. I hate sitting there to wait for the nails to dry! Hahah... I also realise one thing, just take things EASY!

No choice lah... as they said, photoshoot once in a lifetime, you shd be at yr best state when doing the photos. Hope u get better soon :)
now my eye still swollen lei... but not as bad as b4. Really uncomfortable with that big swell on the lid. Now doing hot pressed and apply medicine. Hope it goes off quickly!
hey.. don't worry since u can take your PS another day :) Just rest well and clean your eyes properly so it doesn't get infected again

thanks gals! Now my eye is better, looking forward for the next photo shoot! ahha... I think i will still go and do the manicure cos a lot of ppl say the fake one does not look natural. But I see this shop at the top floor of parco bugis sell very nice fake nails! Has anyone try it before?
