That morning I left her on the bed and went to the kitchen to put away the milk bottle... just a while... I heard a "bong" and loud shriek cry... I knew that's it! I hope my guess is wrong... when I ran to the room, Nick ran out to ask what happen! He din realized Charlotte has fell off the bed!... I immediately on the light and Nick pick up Charlotte. I comforted her and Nick wanted to check her injury... but my 1st concern is to calm her down...
After she calm down, I saw her mouth oozing with blood... her inner upper lid is bleeding... she fell face down which is a blessing in disguise... cos it can get really serious if its head up... I quickly wash up while my maid clean up the teary Charlotte... Nick say he clear up a small puddle of blood from the spot where Charlotte fell. *sweat...
After cleaning up, I see that there are still blood coming out from her mouth... we feel that its better to go KKH incase we din realize something more serious. Both of us took the day off. The A&E did a check on Charlotte. She even smile to the doc in green (must be reminding her of Sotong, cos her favourite Sotong is in green too). The doc wanted to ward her as none of us see what really happen. I din want to... so Nick sign the form and the doc advise the sign to look out for. The rest of the day, Charlotte appear OK but very grumpy... obviously not happy.
Saturday she seems ok... but cry out loud when sherry reminded her of the fall... hahaha... I reminded WS not to mention the fall in front of her. Ws just play with her and she allow Ws to carry her... hahaha... Following Charlotte's fall and also some of the stuffs happening around lately, I wasn't really in the mood for any birthday celebration. Nick arranged a gathering for the fluffy gals to come to our place and Nick whipped up a chilli crab dish... and my favourite strawberry shortcake from WC... though I have told Nick before that I din want any birthday cake or celebration. The strawberry shortcake never fail to put a smile on my face. :P
By Sunday, her wound has healed, but she is still quite affected by the fall... she would cry in the middle of her sleep and we have to wake her up... She will also fidget in her sleep and very "mang zhang"... I have given her some Chinese "jing feng san" and hopefully she walk out of the bad feeling soon... if not mummy will become a panda for CNY....
Monday I am back to office to work... dun ask me why... *sigh.... but I am surprise with a gift from my ex colleague. They are really sweet to remember my birthday and send bird nest and flower to my office... Yes... I really need to nourish nourish for the cny and replenish my lost of youth over the sleepless nites...ahhaha...

same same, my boy also roll down e bed... but actually the bolster drop, he fall on bolster first and he start to struggle then fall to the ground. not so bad.. but few weeks later he flip and fall down from the bouncer =/

glad to hear she is ok gal...as long as she dun vomit for the 1st few days den tink its juz 皮外伤...my boy fell couple of times from the bed also since young. Now I put him to sleep on the mattress which I place on the floor instead of on the bed. Perhaps u can try dat too to prevent future "incidents".
Yup... now I dun dare to leave her alone on the bed.. will put her on her cot even if I just need to walk out for a little while... ahhhaa
Bet it must be real scary for both of you when it happened esp seeing some form of bleeding no matter how minor :) Glad everything is well and lil Charlotte look very cute in the pics, she has grown so much liao and i think she's got daddy's eyes too :]
hahha... ya... her daddy really freak out cos he is the one clearing the blood on the floor... she is alright now... eat quite a no of bottle of jing feng san...hahhaha.... i hope she dun have daddy eyes cos very very small...kekekkee
