I have this fungus in me... as in my nail for quite some time... I din realise that it was fungus growth till I saw a col's fingernail got "corrupted" after ignoring treatment....
Despite Nick constant nagging for me to go see the doc I just keep delaying... Sunday I finally see a doc... and got a shocked... not the condition but the medication! The doc say it some fungus attack so need to eat pills (My col also eat pills) then the doc never tell me that the pill is bloody expensive... I need to eat 4 pills a day and for 7 days... the pills cost $140! My heart ache sia.....
Then still need to go buy another medication paint for the nail... dun know how much that will cost.... sigh.... Nick say its better than the nail rot rite...
Doc say have to go back after 1 month.... to see if the condition improve...
I have this bad habbit of not finishing my medication... for this time... I make sure I finish the $140 worth of medication to get rid of the fungus!
Sian... rot too much till my fingernail also wanna rot liao....

my mum had this kind, then she just kept trimming it at home... one fine day it revealed a new nail growing below..

she shld see a doc...else the thick nail may just fall out..my mum had it on her toe too..doc gave her cream i think..she 68yr old liao..all her med bills are half price.
mine is one corner of the nail become green black, then the other finger is the nail cannot stick to the skin.... my col one is nail growing on top and the nail...
Eee...mine wasn't fungus last time but was kena kicked den bcom ingrown nail. Had an op to "cut" part of my toe nail off.
it did drop out but there was a new nail below.. heng ah. haha
i manage to post a pict of the fungus nail and the bloody x medicine... hahhaa...

I wouldnt think that its fungus too (yours)... i wouldnt have thought it was some blood clot!
initally I also thought its some blood clot but I din knock myself... and the dark spot grow from inner skin... sian... nowaday all kind of funny medical stuff...

sian loh.... my col also got fungus then he did a lot of research... this kind of fungus very stubborn one... need 6 course of medication.... I am so not going back to see the doc liao... will try home remedy... I am still very sore by the price of the medication... Best of all the doc wrote a presciption and I bought the medication, it cost 65 bucks for a nail polish. Sian... if its on the toe nail.. I will sure hack care and wait for it to drop like wat my other col did... seems like this nail fungus thing is very common.
