Before Charlotte started cc, I started giving her Colostrum with Probiotics a few times in the week. And I started giving her the vitamin c in the syringe but she dun really like the taste. The week before she started cc, she is having night terror and night coughing... I started giving her the sambucus and she love taking it! Its is quite sweet. Surprisingly she likes it cos she dun really like sweet stuff....
After 3 days of cc, she developed cough and fever over the weekend... I think cant help it as well... today she is back to school, and I further research on vitamins and supplement... I notice the vit c I am giving her is about 125mg per dose, I recalled asking the pharmacy telling me children of 2 years old can take about 250mg... I was looking for multivitamin and I saw most multivitamin has quite low dosage of vitamin c... I decided to find out what was the "actual" recommendation. To my horror, according to Babycenter, a toddler between the ages of 1 to 3 years needs about 15 mg of vitamin C a day! Another website says its between 50 to 60mg... The difference is quite big... I also dun know which one to believe... but confirm 250mg is way too much!
Then I was considering how about finding multivitamin that has everything! But some article mentioned that multivitamin is not recommended for children under 6 years old. I think I can skip all the fish oil for the time being as these are usually found in the milk powder... My ger dun like the taste of cod liver fish oil... wasted a few bottle of the famous "scott".
I am also reading up on the Sambucus for Kids, seems like defence against cough and flu... but the sugar content is a bit worrying... I found a similar one call Nature's Way, Sambucus, Black Elderberry, Original Syrup and it did not state the age group.. just say children... and I saw in motherhood forum review that its meant for children age 4 and above... as I was researching,... to my horror, the one I am feeding Charlotte one is meant for 2 years old and above! :P... she is reaching 2 years old, so I think should be fine... hahahhahah ... I guess those syrup for children is OK to have a bit sugar... One of the mummy in forum cautioned the daily usage of this syrup as its quite strong... but also got mummy give their little one this on a regular basis.
I think will just stick with vitamin c and Colostrum with Probiotics for the time being. Any recommended supplement to help toddler boost their immunity for childcare?

denson taking Vidaylin Multi-vits (Liquid form) and 10ml of scotts cod liver oil daily..
Tink the best vitamin to give is thru natural sources bah. Does Charlotte like eating fruits? Give her on a regular basis lor. Since she juz start cc, its common dat she might b building her immunity from the "cough" she gets. So far I tink cod liver oil is by far my best recommendation OR it could b travis body immunity is stronger nowadays.
