Of course I would like to play really rally hard but have to bear in mind the commitment and financial means... And lately work is getting a bit heavy to certain extend I feel that time is always not enough but nonetheless I think priority is not a easy task... Not in term of work but more of between work and social life.
I used to say work is not everything but I slowly realize that perhaps I haven been doing things I enjoy or felt important back then... Not that I m now doing something big or important but I found myself doing something I believe in now. But well I dun know how long this passion will last... Not because I give up easily but I do see big barriers and long gestation period to see the whole thing take off.
Enough of work, back to the play part... Haven plan Wat next for the 2nd half of this year... Any economical, child friendly holiday destination for recommendation?

My birthday and coming vday was celebrated with a blast... But quite a private event like last year because unfortunately an extended family member passed away... Last year and this year, exactly the same date... Last year nick booked the "cut: at MBS for my birthday so we went ahead despite the bad news and keep it harsh harsh since its not too nice to shout about it, following few days are attending wake. This year, nick surprised me by booking a rooftop suite at Siloso beach, something I wanted for a long time but the stingy side of me refuse to bulge. He planned it in a way to have a birthday cum vday celebration. I knew abt the plan quite early but just a few days before that, an extended relative passed away... So on my exact day we went for dinner at chimes, following day to wake, funeral....
This time round, I dun have a maid, so I have a big headache on arrangement for Charlotte as I have to attend the wake which I am not keen to bring her along... The Chinese tradition has a lot of rituals ceremony... as much as I wanted to skip the session but I think in our Chinese traditions... its the "duty" of the younger generation to do the last bit of duty..... Luckily Auntie Joey and Reina are able to entertain Charlotte! Hahahhaha.... The naggy me nag at her for a few days about our arrangement to leave her at Auntie Joey place for one of the evening and she really alright with the arrangement and had a great evening at Auntie Joey's house!
After that, we went to Siloso for the weekend. The weekend spend at Sentosa is a good short "getaway" though not exactly a holiday but we have a fun time. We arrived close to noon for lunch and a visit to the underwater world cum dolphin show as Charlotte likes dolphin but the show is disappointing, it's 90% on the seal. Then follow by check in which the Siloso is lousy as the room was not ready till 4pm which is 1 hour after the check in time! We checked out the rooftop jacuzzi and went for a dip in the bigger swimming pool which I think contain spring water.
After the swim is sand play! Finally Charlotte is ok with playing on the beach! She was previously damm scared of beach, sand and sea. She says next time want to go play sand with Reina!
We had some food while she played and packed pizza back to our room... Charlotte slept early for the night and we get to enjoy some private moment at the jacuzzi right at the roof top! The atmosphere is good! a bit like what we did at Hakone except that its not hot spring and not as cold... Its quite an experience!
The following day after breakfast, we went to enjoy the rooftop jacuzzi again! Hahahha.... and Home Sweet Home! Love the arrangement to spend the short weekend at Sentosa.! Its enjoyment of the accompany of loved ones!

i recommend Korea!!!!
not too expensive and kids have lots of fun.... got two themeparks, hot spring indoor swimming park, and ski/sled!
careful abt too much details on work. you never know whoever (online) reads this!
Nick is so sweet lah! Rooftop jacuzzi! I am glad my partner does not read this. haha. and even I myself am gian!
Haha fc, no worries... I always lock sensitive post to contacts only! Haha!!! And multiply is a place where is not so gossipy as Facebook. Dun like the stalkers at fb.
Korea is in the plan and if we wanna go is definetly winter to enjoy the cool... But a bit worried if Charlotte can take winter... Now that we dun have a maid and she has become so inquisitive, keep asking where we are going... It's a must to lug her along
They can cos according to our guide their body is smaller can circulation is better so can take cold.
Just wear winter clothes and thermal like adults.
Winter is nice!
Rooftop suite ...wow...must be quite a luxury! Which hotel?. I suaku...;)
Siloso beach resort. The room is clean, outdoor jacuzzi reasonable clean but saw review that many ppl complain abt dirty... In my context, it's acceptable. But thumb down for service, the room is late for 1 hour.... And swimming pool ran out of towel! Haha!
Got any recommendation to follow guided tour in Korea?... My friend follow SA to korea, she says the food is good... But they din went with kid so not sure how convenient.
if u go during sch hols in dec there will be many families going, so it is quite ok cos the tour got a lot of kids and they will be understanding!
SA tour from wat i know is that the tipping is more, but the fare is lower.
i went with Chan brothers cos i want to have a morning flight, as most korea tour flight is the midnight flight.
usually if u go to jeju island also, it will be like u land in the morning, then tour abit of seoul, then fly to jeju on day 1.
i feel this is too taxing for me with a child.
food wise if with Chan bros i think 99% korean food, i am not sure if your kid is ok...
the ski eqiupment etc are all included in the fare, so do check with ur agency if they are included or not. some tour just go and ski for a few hours, no overnight at the resorts, some do.
korea is pram frenly and they use the very expensive pram there, stokke explorer, i saw many!!!!!!!!!!!! hhahhahhhahaha
