As we are still early for the baby shower, we went to hong kong cafe at east coast... the xiao long bao is really nice! We lazed around for time to pass, took some photos... can see the classic "zhu hou ren" hugo boss spec in this picture! Hahahah...
The plan of having a 二人世界 pre-birthday celebration did not went as planned... we go so carried away talking to friends at the baby shower and followed by drinking session, which Nick end up puking...hahah... so din get to have the so call pre-celebration...
Nonetheless...I have planned something for him...on the eve of his birthday.... a hand deco birthday cake... It was a rather small cake with big effort! I planned to hide it from him so that he only get to see it when the clock strike 12 to his birthday...hahahah...

Nick came back to pick me after class... I hide the cake inside our "brown" bag, the one which we usually use to transfer clothes.... as usual he took the bag, although I din want him to carry but I think he will suspect if I insist taking that bag... then he was swinging and shaking that bag as usual... I m thinking OMG, the cake should be gone case man... I briefly check the cake without him noticing... gone, the red choco is all over the place. I tried to save the choco back home while he din notice and kept that cake aside.
We went for dinner with the family and Nick was suggesting that he took a nap first and wake up later to do home work... as usual, the sleeping worms are too hard to resist... at 10.00pm I wake him up, telling him its time to do home work... he said in his sleepy tone... "tomolo then do..." I tried all ways to make him wake up... he insist that he wanna sleep... bo pian liao... I think might as well bring forward the plan... but the cake a bit messy liao rite... I got a "nice" copy online here, so I wanted to show him, I on his pc and the pc got problem with start up... hahahah...
So I have to confess liao... I brought out the cake and show him, he was surprised... and ask how I kept the cake. I told him, the cake was so much nicer, but he shake the bag loh... then he say should have told him earlier then he will take care, as if I will man... hahaha...
I sang him a birthday song and he made a long long wish... dun know what wish he made. Then blew the candle. As it was late at night we din eat the cake, we just eat the 2 "hearts"... hahah
This morning we had this cake as breakfast!

bo lar, the base cake is a baked cheese cake I got from my neighbourhood bakery, then the height of the cake too tall for the box so I sliced off the top part...hahaha.... the deco is I do de... I cant get a fresh cream cos have to hide, bo fridge...
I realised the baked cheese cake will melt also... I think in room temp, butter cake works better. But cheese cake more tasty lei...hahahha :P
eh, the cake that nick is holding, i see red stains, izzit bcos he shake, then the red choco smear the cake ??
the colour from the chocolate all run lei... the choco is from herserly de I thought should be better but its stain the cake lei.
guess it metls bah...that explains the stain
