Weekend happening

Last friday went to the dinner at bedok as Nick bid a pendent last year. It was through Nick's colleague de son connection that we went to the dinner last year. We were there quite early so the gals catch up on gossips as usual...hahhaa.... 

Saw some photos at SP website... he took them without us knowing. The dinner serving is quite slow and the gals left early, only let wc, sp, nick and myself. I were getting very tired towards the end of the dinner... maybe too much loud talking...exhausted....hahha...

Saturday morning Nick went to run for his Ippt again, 3rd time... I wasnt too hopful cos he had quite some beer on the Friday dinner. As usual, I went to chong pang for breakfast to wait for him. By 9 am he haven call... hmm maybe he pass? Cos the past 2 times, I received his call before 9 cos he fail one item then he gave up the rest liao...hahaha...

By 9.15 he called... failed running by 33 sec! Huh!!!! Then he say because he lost track of the no of rounds he run, last round still dily daily trying to preserve energy to splint at last round! Damm "yuan wang" loh! Bo pian lar... have to try again b4 this sunday!


He went to meet his project mates to do project after dropping me home... I spend the afternoon baking brownies...hahahha.... lack of ice cream but it still taste good on its own! Hahaha... I brought my mum to a chinese physican as recommended by my grandma...as usual the monkey see, monkey do story... ppl say good then must bring her go and try... at least this physican is truthful enough of my mum condition... she is a stoke patient and she is handling her life well now... just that I can understand as parents (my grandma) they hope the best for her... arent we as children hoping the best for her too??? Sometimes they just failed to see the limitations. Saw a TCS artiste there for treatment too... I suspose this physican is quite famous ba....


Sunday morning, my mum was showing me a big big shock.... she found a "zhen jiu" needle in the basin.... she has no idea how it get there... obviously she brought the needle back from the chinese physican loh... souvenir ar!!!! kao.....

The family went for tim sum.... and we spend the evening lazing at home... I watched the "Last Sumurai" on channel 5... I din catch the movie b4.... its a touching story on how the warriors really "devote" their life to their king... can call it stupid in modern society...hahhaha.... cos nowadays its sit where its chiller (the teochew saying, where more chilling, sit where) hahhaaha.... But one thing I really "pei fu" them its their courage and their "focus" spirit!
