School Bag Saga

When Charlotte first started school, I was quite skeptical on how well she can adapt to school... so I use the FOC cold storage race bag for her... and she din really response to the bag cos I guess she has a lot to "handle" on her emotion in school... Hahahha...

Her 2nd day in school, she refused to let the teacher bath her... 3rd day, teacher told me she is better as she is willing to follow teacher when the teacher ask her to bring her bag... I din really understand the meaning of bring her bag.. But I din asked.

Back home, I see her dragging her bag across the house... I thought she do it for fun... cos I did an iron on (pororo, her favourite cartoon) on the bag... She was so happy... but after a few days, the pororo started to peel.... and its kinda ugly.... Last Thursday evening I tried to remove the iron on but it left the polarbear (pooobe) head on the bag.

Friday morning when she woke up, she keep staring at the left over poopbe head.... I decided to just use a big tote bag for her school bag... she is not interested... When we reached school... the teacher gave me a weird look when I say this is Charlotte bag... hahahha I din really understand why... Then I read from forum and get to know that some center will train the child to take their own school bag...
I immediately wanted to buy a new school bag for Charlotte, so I went over to the pasar malang but the cartoon on the bag look weird.... went to metro and it was having a 20% discount... I got a mid size melody bag for her... I din let her see it cos I was a bit doubtful about the size... Just as I guess correctly, the bag is too small,... cannot stuff in her pigget which I let her bring to school for nap... btw the bag cost $23.90 after discount... so expensive! But got even more expensive one which I really dun think need to get so x one.


Saturday, we went back to metro to have the bag changed... But Charlotte was sleeping in the car after her class so I went alone to change. After much comparison, I decided to get the strawberry shortcake one ( i thought she will like). There are a lot of Dora and barbie doll but I know she dun like these cartoon.... I saw a hello kitty one which the size is just nice but it cost 40++ and I count its ok with the discount... who knows the hello kitty one dun have discount! So... being the stingy mother, I went back and pick a bigger strawberry shortcake bag... As I only have 1 chance to change, I decided to get the bigger one... the next smaller one seems too small...

When we are back home on Saturday evening, we realized the bag is much much bigger and bigger than her! And worse of all, when I ask her, U like? She shake her head and say "No no"... Mummy is so sad lar... wrong judgement! I ask her to pull the bag and she seems having problem with the size.... I decide to sell it online if there is any buyer... and definitely in a lost... Cos the bag is original 36.90 or 38.90 (cant rem) then after 20% discount its like close to $30.... I decided to sell at a lost... selling at $20! I posted online and now waiting for buyer...

Yesterday we went to Jusco with Sherry and Steven... I saw the hello kitty bag ( the one i wanted to get at metro but dun have discount) and it convert to be around $37... There are 2 designs and I wanted Charlotte to choose (though I know she will like hello kitty) but she was crazy playing those "shaking" machines... running around with the token and taking every ride (thanks to the daddy who teach her how to "tong" the token)... She refused to listen to me and choose the bags!

I decided to just take the one I think its nice... So ended up I paid $37 plus the $10 (lost if I manage to sell the bag)... More expensive than the original cost if I have gotten it at the start! (Nick say: see lar, try to save, end up paying more)


The only console I get is, Charlotte is excited when she see her bag this morning! Hahahha...
